Vocho Spirit | Ep.1 'Don Chuy'

Vochos Unidos is a visual study of the contemporary Mexican culture of the vocho, its environment, and those who still live the vochero spirit.

With spontaneous street portraits, documentary photographer Rodrigo Gaya Villar seeks to discover the stories that each Mexican has with his voice.
The result of the visual anthropological project will be a photobook focused on three aspects:

#My Vocho
"Before I did not like the car, it did not seem very attractive. One day my father arrived with the car that would later be mine, without knowing that he had restored it from scratch. I asked him why a car, why not a mustang or A charger. He answered me "get on and drive it with me, you'll see how you fall in love with it" and indeed, feeling how it grabs onto the floor and how it pulls people's eyes became addicted to me. It is the best gift of life. "
